Sarah F. Shelton, PsyD, MPH, MSCP, Re-Elected to National Register of Health Service Psychologists Board of Directors

At its December meeting, the National Register Board of Directors re-elected Sarah F. Shelton, PsyD, MPH, MSCP, to a four-year term that began January 1, 2017.

Dr. Shelton currently teaches graduate courses in Psychology, Criminal Justice, and Public Health at the University of the Cumberlands and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is licensed in Kentucky and Illinois and has owned and operated a multi-city private practice for the past ten years as an evaluator and expert witness. She is President-Elect of the Kentucky Psychological Association.

In response to her re-election, Dr. Shelton remarked, “It is both an honor and a privilege to be re-elected for a second term of service with the National Register Board of Directors. I look forward to finding and creating opportunities in the next four years that will enhance the expansion and evolution of the organization and the professional practice of its Registrants. I am inspired and encouraged by my experience on the Board during my first elected term and am excited to begin my second term of service.”

Erica H. Wise, PhD, Chair of the National Register’s Nominating Committee, commented on the selection process, “Sarah’s enthusiasm on behalf of the National Register has contributed to the development of immediate and long-term strategies for the organization. The Board of Directors is excited to welcome Dr. Shelton to another term.”

Dr. Shelton has been credentialed by the National Register since 2007.
