Meet Sandra, one of our 2024 scholarship recipients who relocated for her internship in a Canadian operational stress injury clinic working with active military, veterans, and police.
Meet Katie Biesiada, a 2023 Internship Travel Scholarship winner who moved from Colorado to Pennsylvania. Katie faced logistical challenges, including her moving truck breaking down in a remote area of Utah, making getting road-side assistance nearly impossible. With an additional 7-hour delay, she and her two cats finally made it to the east coast.
Meet Aileen Terrazas, who traveled to her internship near the bustling streets of San Francisco, CA, where she is collaborating with schools in the community on providing mental health resources to immigrant children and working at an outpatient clinic providing specialty mental health care services to immigrant children and families.
