Membership is open to doctoral-level psychologists who hold an active license in the United States or Canada. You do not have to complete a credentials evaluation to join as a National Register member.

National Register members who meet our credentialing requirements may apply for the HSP Credential at no additional cost.

Held by more than 10,000 psychologists, the HSP Credential recognizes psychologists who have met nationally recognized standards for education, training, and supervised experience. HSP credentialed members receive enhanced benefits, including:

The National Register Associate Program is a free membership for psychology doctoral students and postdoctoral trainees preparing for licensure.

You are eligible to join if you are:

  • Enrolled in an APA- or CPA-accredited PsyD, PhD, or EdD program, or
  • Completing your postdoctoral supervised experience.

As an Associate, you’ll join a community of more than 15,000 psychology students, trainees, and licensed psychologists across the United States and Canada while enjoying valuable professional resources, including:
