The Deadline to Apply for National Psychologist Trainee Register Credentialing Scholarships is 4/1/2008!

The National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology, in conjunction with American Psychological Association of Graduate Students (APAGS), is pleased to announce an award for doctoral students in psychology interested in becoming credentialed by the National Register through its student program, the National Psychologist Trainee Register (NPTR).

The $300 award will cover the application fees for each recipients credential banking and review (to include the doctoral degree, internship, postdoctoral supervised experience) and registration fee to activate the recipients NRHSPP credential as soon as they are licensed. APAGS and the National Register will select the recipients based on the criteria below. Applications must be received by April 1, 2008. The National Register is the largest credentialing organization for psychologists. The National Psychologist Trainee Register helps students build and maintain a credentials profile that complies with national education and training standards, and positions them for the National Register HSPP credential. Banking credentials helps students eliminate the arduous task of ordering official transcripts and searching for past supervisors later on in their career.
