National Register Outreach to Early Career Psychologists (ECPs)
The National Register works with early career psychologists and ECP organizations to offer benefits tailored to ECPs, get early career perspective on important professional issues, and assist with professional development and recognition for new professionals. Here are some of the ways we relate to ECPs.
Marketing Strategy and Financial Planning to Build Your Professional Practice
The National Register has created a special publication and webpage focusing on developing your professional practice. The 32 page Marketing Strategy and Financial Planning to Build Your Professional Practice guide was developed by National Register staff and members of the Board of Directors who have expertise and experience in marketing and financial planning. Additional marketing and financial resources are available online.

Promoting Mobility for ECPs
Since there is no waiting period to qualify for the National Register credential beyond initial licensure, numerous ECPs have become credentialed and taken advantage of the National Register’s licensure mobility program. Currently, 44 jurisdictions have approved the National Register for mobility, and the most popular destinations for ECPs are California, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
