She discusses the sometimes conflicting ethical and legal obligations of protecting client confidentiality, asserting privilege, and complying with the law, and provides strategies for responding to these records requests in ways that minimize risk.

About the Presenter

Amanda D. Zelechoski is a licensed clinical and forensic psychologist and attorney. She received her BA from the University of Notre Dame, her MS and PhD from Drexel University, and her JD from Villanova University School of Law. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at The Trauma Center at Justice Resource Institute (Brookline, MA) and is board certified in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology. Dr. Zelechoski has worked clinically with adults, children, and families in inpatient, outpatient, and forensic settings.
