Seeking Transplant Psychologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center!

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health is seeking applications for a TRANSPLANT PSYCHOLOGIST.  Rank for this clinical track appointment is flexible, dependent on the candidate’s qualifications. The successful candidate will join a 30+ member Division of Psychology with a clinical-health psychology pre-doctoral internship program to: a) provide assessment and treatment to pre-and post-transplant patients; b) participate in the professional education of psychology and psychiatry trainees; and c) collaborate with other faculty in scholarly activities. The faculty member would join an inter-professional team and provide pre-transplant psychosocial evaluations for kidney, liver, heart, lung, and pancreas transplant candidates, kidney and liver donors, as well as provide intervention for post-transplant patients who need psychosocial support.

 Applicants must be from an APA- or CPA-accredited doctoral program (with an accredited clinical internship), have at least one year of relevant post-doctoral experience, and be licensed in Ohio by the time of appointment.
