Senior Research Associate

The Center for Provider Wellbeing is seeking a senior researcher to help lead the evaluation of our interventions.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
To provide leadership and execution of the research agenda of the Center for Provider Wellbeing (CPW).

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting the research agenda of CPW programs and interventions, including conceiving of new research projects and improvement of existing and planned research
  • Conducting robust programmatic evaluation
  • Assisting with development of the interface between data storage and dashboards
  • Preparing oral and poster presentations, grant applications, manuscripts
  • Managing the Provider Wellbeing Survey, to include interfacing with Stanford/Risk Authority staff and CCHS Value Institute
  • Developing and managing research projects: plans, coordinates, and is accountable for major research activities including protocol development, IRB compliance and dissemination of results
  • Fostering collaboration with internal and external partners to work on research projects and evaluations
  • Preparing proposals and grants for federal and private funding organizations
  • Mentoring clinicians, wellbeing champions, and student interns in their own wellbeing-related research
  • Communicating the results and impact of the Center’s work via participation in professional meetings and publication of research results in peer-reviewed publications
  • Engaging in business development activities, identifying opportunities and strategic partnerships, cultivating relationships with existing and potential collaborators, and writing proposals
  • Performing other related duties as required
  • Performing assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reporting to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors
