 The Patient and Family Wellness Center in the Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute is seeking candidates for a Research Assistant Professor position. Established in 2012, the mission of the Patient and Family Wellness Center is to advance the behavioral, emotional, cognitive and spiritual outcomes of patients and families served by the Cancer and Blood Disease Institute through science and evidence-driven practice. The Center is a comprehensive psychosocial clinical and research program for children, adolescents and young adults with cancer and blood diseases. Responsibilities for this position include developing an independent, externally-funded program of psychosocial research focused in hematology and/or oncology. The position comes with a faculty appointment in the research track at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. The ideal candidate will have completed a doctorate in clinical psychology (APA accredited) and be licensed or license-eligible in Ohio, completed 2 years research-focused postdoctoral training, and have previous research focused in pediatric hematology, oncology or BMT.
