The Weight Management Center at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, NC is currently offering a post-doctoral psychology fellowship beginning July 1, 2018. The fellow will be an active member of our interdisciplinary team comprised of MDs, PAs, NPs, nurses, exercise physiologists, dietitians, and masters and doctoral level behavioral health providers. Our fellowship offers opportunities to complete psychosocial evaluations for bariatric surgery candidates, conduct individual and group therapy, design comprehensive treatment plans for patients with chronic medical conditions, develop and lead didactic seminars for medical team, participate in research projects and conference submissions, and assist with the development and implementation of a Behavioral Health program in the Wake Forest Baptist Diabetes and Endocrinology Center. Qualifications include a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or related field, completion of APA accredited internship, and eligibility for licensure as a Licensed Psychological Associate in North Carolina. Experience in integrated health settings and/or psychological assessments is strongly preferred. Compensation package will include medical benefits, paid time off, and holidays.
