Ohio State University Postdoctoral Position in Behavioral Science
The Department of Psychology, in collaboration with Human Nutrition at The Ohio State University, is seeking an applicant for a postdoctoral position focused in the behavioral sciences. This position provides strong mentorship in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment and an excellent opportunity to further develop research skills and prepare for a career in an academic or medical setting. The position is designed for scholars who will seek to establish an independent research career upon completion of the appointment. The postdoctoral researcher will work on an NIH-funded behavioral diabetes prevention intervention promoting weight management using augmented care for early non-responders. Primary responsibilities will include: conducting interventions; treatment fidelity evaluation; intervention outcome evaluation; and writing manuscripts and research grants for pilot funding. Clinical experience and supervision in randomized controlled trials of weight management treatment also is available for those seeking psychology licensure.
