SCCCD Post-Doctoral Fellowship

Psychological Services at the State Center Community College District (SCCCD) currently has one open position for a postdoctoral-level clinician.  This position is a 10-month appointment that will begin August 14, 2017 and it is open to applicants who have completed a doctorate in clinical psychology.

The responsibilities of the Postdoctoral Clinicians include:

·         Intake assessments

·         Crisis intervention

·         Short-term individual therapy, with an option to maintain a limited caseload of longer-term clients

·         Option to provide group therapy

·         Provide supervision and consultation to doctoral-level psychological interns as needed

·         Outreach to the campus community, including collaboration with the student-run club Active Minds

Postdoctoral Clinicians typically provide 20-25 hours of clinical work out of a 40-hour work week.  At a minimum, Postdoctoral Clinicians receive 2 hours of individual clinical supervision, 2 hours of group supervision, and participate in weekly professional development activities with the other Postdoctoral Clinicians.  Supervision will constitute at least 10% of the Postdoctoral Clinician’s work week.


Completion of doctoral internship is required, and the doctoral degree must be posted by the start date of August 14, 2017.

$24,000 for a 10-month position
