The University of Massachusetts Medical School, Department of Family Medicine and Community Health has extended its post-doctoral fellowship application deadline to Friday January, 19, 2018. The 2 year full-time program in primary care psychology prepares graduates for successful academic careers, especially as behavioral science faculty in family medicine residencies, as well as for successful clinical careers in health psychology and primary care. Two candidates will be selected with a preferred (negotiable) start date on or around July 1, 2018.
We have openings in the Hahnemann Family Health Center (urban) and the Barre Family Health Center (rural). The fellowship is affiliated with the department’s family medicine residency program and fellows have a variety of training and teaching opportunities with the residents and medical students. Clinical experience in primary care is important whereas experience in family medicine is preferred but not required.
