 The TSRHC Psychology Department assists children and their families cope with congenital and acquired orthopedic, neurologic, rheumatologic and related conditions. We invite applicants for a one-year post-doctoral fellowship in Pediatric Psychology, combining clinical, educational and research activities.

The fellowship offers advanced clinical training in the following areas:

  • Consultation/liaison as part of interdisciplinary ambulatory care clinics
  • Outpatient assessment, pre-surgical evaluations, and brief psychotherapy/intervention to children and families with chronic medical conditions
  • Inpatient consultation and treatment including: adjustment to chronic medical conditions; surgery preparation and education, pain management, long-term hospitalization; and recovery/rehabilitation
  • Medical rounds, conferences and other didactic opportunities
  • Research

Applicants should have a doctorate from an APA-accredited program and APA-accredited internship experience with a focus on pediatric evidence-based interventions. Experience in a hospital setting is preferred. Salary and benefits are competitive. Dedicated time for licensure preparation is also included.   Expected start date is week of August 28, 2017.
