The National Council for Behavioral Health has compiled a series of resources to help support anyone experiencing trauma after the Orlando mass shooting, although the resources can help after any violent event or natural disaster.

The Council's resources include listed signs that someone is experiencing trauma as well as ways to support them. There is also an introductory review of the ways that the Orlando shooting and other trauma can specifically affect the LGBTQ community. Specific context for professional trauma caregivers is provided in a separate document.
