The Veterans Affairs Administration has published a series of resources for coping with reactions to traumatic stress.

In addition to guides on how to cope and what to avoid following a traumatic event, the new resources include an iPhone app and online coaching program to help manage stress reactions. In the online program, psychologists offer short videos that coach viewers on how to respond to many situations and challenges. In the iPhone app, resources include self-tracking tools, links to find support, and steps for managing traumatic stress as it occurs.

For professional care providers, consultation with experts is available, and the National Center for PTSD is hosting an online lecture series for continuing education credit.
