Multi-practitioner Atlanta-based Police and Public Safety Psychology practice invites applications for a full or part-time/contract licensed psychologist. The firm specializes in occupational risk management, particularly psychological pre-employment screening for law enforcement and other safety-sensitive positions, fitness for duty and threat assessment, and risk management consultation with television networks. This opportunity will include work with other police and public safety psychologists, all board-certified through the American Board of Professional Psychology. There will be opportunities to ride along with police officers from our agencies and to attend conference and seminar training (including relevant police training).

Benefits are offered to full-time employees and include competitive salary based upon experience, paid vacation and holidays, employer-paid medical insurance, and the opportunity to participate in the 401k program. Licensed psychologists will also have the opportunity to travel to clients located in New York and other areas of the country. Additional bonuses are awarded upon review for positive performance. Partnership/Chief Psychologist opportunities may be available to highly motivated individuals. This opportunity could serve as one year of the three years required to be eligible to apply for ABPP certification in Forensic Psychology or Police and Public Safety Psychology.

Full-time employees will also receive malpractice insurance, 12 paid holidays and 10 days of paid personal time. Travel to relevant conferences and training may also be provided.

REQUIREMENTS: Successful applicants must have completed a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program, as well as an APA-accredited pre-doctoral clinical internship. Applicants must be licensed or license eligible as a psychologist in the state of Georgia. Excellent writing and interview skills are essential requirements.
