The Department of Psychiatry and the Psychological Assessment Center at the Faculty of Medicine of the American University of Beirut (AUB) is seeking full-time Psychologist(s) Specialized in Assessments to join its ranks.

 Eligible applicants should hold a PhD, PsyD or EdD in Psychology from an accredited program in the USA, EU, UK, or Australia. Licensure and certification to practice psychology in the USA, UK or EU countries are preferred.

 The clinical training of applicants should reflect expertise in diagnostics and/or testing and assessment across the lifespan, although sub-specialization by population (e.g., elderly) or presentation (e.g., learning disabilities) is preferred. The ideal candidate must have an established record in clinical work, research and teaching. Successful applicants should have three to five years of clinical experience in outpatient or inpatient settings.

 Proficiency in English and Arabic is required, while French is an asset. His/her responsibilities will include psychological evaluations and pursuing research activities in testing and neuropsychology relevant to the Middle East region. He/she is also expected to contribute to the supervision of psychology interns and psychiatry residents, as well as teaching of medical students. Many opportunities for collaboration exist within the framework of the Abu-Haydar Neuroscience Institute at AUBMC or within AUB at large.
