The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (Division of Psychology) at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine is seeking a full-time clinical psychologist to join the faculty of a strong, multidisciplinary program in a medical center academic department. The candidate will join a rich, collaborative environment with other clinicians and scientists in the Feinberg School of Medicine and throughout the University. We are expanding and strengthening our clinical psychology doctoral program. The new faculty member will develop an academic research program focused on the study and treatment of anxiety disorders. In addition, the successful candidate for this position will be expected to mentor trainees in psychology as well as more junior faculty colleagues. The selected candidate will have a PhD, experience and interest in evidence-based practices and affective neuroscience. They will also have extensive experience in securing external funding to support a research program. In addition, the successful candidate will have a record of successful mentorship of students, fellows and more junior faculty colleagues.
This position will be a full-time continuing appointment with the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in the tenure-eligible track. Start date is negotiable. Position will remain open until filled. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
