Clinical Research Faculty Position in Tourette Syndrome
A new Clinical Research Faculty for Tourette Syndrome (Non-Tenure Track) position at Rutgers University:
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Clinical Research Faculty Member for the Tourette Syndrome Clinic—supported by NJ Center for Tourette Syndrome and Associated Disorders—at the Center for Psychological Services in The Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) in conjunction with The Human Genetics Institute of New Jersey (HGINJ). The Clinical Research Faculty Member will provide leadership and oversight of the Tourette Syndrome Clinic. This includes the development and implementation of a research program, securing future funding and budgeting for clinical and research activities, and clinical and administrative supervision of graduate student clinicians and research assistants. The position requires a high level of autonomy within the duties assigned. The position is Non-Tenure track. The successful candidate will continue the work of The Tourette Syndrome Clinic. In addition, he or she will work with the HGINJ Tourette Syndrome research program and NJCTS to develop specific research that is appropriate to their skills and the subject population. The position reports to the Director of the Center for Psychological Services with secondary reporting to the Director of the HGINJ Tourette Syndrome Clinical Program. The successful candidate also will benefit from collaborations with a leading TS psychiatrist at the Yale Child Study Center.
A doctoral degree in psychology and NJ Psychologist License or license eligible.
A promising or strong record of scholarship, publications, and success in securing grants.
Knowledge and experience in diagnosing, treating, and conducting research in the area of Tourette Syndrome and/or related disorders.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage operational processes including budgets.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
