The Psychology Department at Ohio University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Clinical Psychology at the assistant professor level. Preference will be given to candidates who can contribute to training needs in the department (clinical assessment and supervision of clinical practica) and one area of research conducted in the clinical section (clinical child, clinical health, clinical neuropsychology, emotion regulation, interpersonal process, school mental health, substance abuse, stress/trauma). Expertise in diversity as it pertains to any of these areas (e.g., sexuality/gender, age, disability, socioeconomic status, race/ethnicity, religiosity) is encouraged but not required. Responsibilities include maintaining an active, high-quality, fundable research program, directing graduate student research, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, supervising assessment and/or clinical practica, and participating in departmental service.

Candidates must be committed to working effectively with students, faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds, must have obtained a Ph.D. from an APA-accredited clinical psychology program, and must have completed an APA-accredited APA or CPA-accredited clinical internship.
