BSWIR has received repeat recognition as one of the country’s top rehabilitation hospitals in U.S. News & World Report's annual "America's Best Hospitals" report, and continues to be recognized in the Top 10 list of Best Places to Work in North Texas. The primary rehabilitation hospital is a 92-bed facility located in downtown Dallas adjacent to Baylor University Medical Center, part of Baylor Scott & White Health, with outpatient facilities located on the same downtown campus.

As part of our ongoing expansion and reorganization of the neuropsychology/ rehabilitation psychology department as an integrated collaborative driver of our continuum of care model, we are actively seeking full time rehabilitation psychologists and neuropsychologists to join our team. Full time inpatient positions are available in our inpatient setting to work with a variety of patient populations including spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, stroke, amputation and transplant. Additionally, positions are available in the outpatient setting with a particular emphasis on neuropsychological assessment and treatment, both in our DayNeuro program as well as general outpatient including therapy focused on adjustment to injury/illness.  The ideal candidate would have experience working in a multidisciplinary team setting with patients who have sustained traumatic injury or other medical conditions requiring rehabilitation including spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, stroke, and orthopedic injury. Applicants should have relevant training and experience in neuropsychological assessment, psychological assessment and therapeutic interventions (solution focused, behavioral) relevant to the rehabilitation setting and patient population. It would be expected that applicants would have background and experience working with families as well as group interventions.

Candidates for each position should have a doctorate in Clinical, Counseling, or Health Psychology from an APA/CPA approved program and be licensed or license eligible in Texas as either a Provisionally Licensed Psychologist or a Licensed Psychologist with postdoctoral training in clinical neuropsychology or rehabilitation psychology.  Board certification or qualification towards board certification status in Clinical Neuropsychology or Rehabilitation Psychology is highly encouraged.
