The Marywood University Department of Psychology and Counseling seeks an Assistant Professor of Psychology for a full-time tenure track position beginning August, 2018.

RESPONSIBILITIES: As a member of the core clinical faculty for the Psy.D. program, at least 50% of the teaching load will be at the graduate level. Supervision of student research is expected, including undergraduate honors research, master’s, and doctoral research. Successful candidates should demonstrate potential for effective teaching and scholarship and be willing to provide service to the department, University, and community.

QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical (preferred) or Counseling Psychology from an APA-approved program.  Licensed or license-eligible in Pennsylvania (preferred). Postdoctoral supervision, if needed, may be provided for 1 year, with the expectation of licensure immediately thereafter.  The candidate must have training/experience to competently provide clinical supervision, with the ability to supervise both child and adult cases preferred.

THE DEPARTMENT: The Department of Psychology and Counseling is in the Reap College of Education and Human Development. It offers undergraduate, master’s, and school psychology programs, and the APA-accredited Psy.D. program in clinical psychology.
