The Department of Psychology at THE UNIVERSITY OF MONTANA-Missoula seeks an Assistant Professor in the area of Clinical Psychology with expertise in American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) issues; in extraordinary circumstances, appointment at the rank of Associate will be considered. First-hand experience working with Native American communities and individuals is preferred. This is a full-time 12-month tenure-track position (.7 FTE state-supported, .3 FTE funded through a renewable grant to support training of AI/AN students). The position is partially funded by Indian Health Service to direct our Indians Into Psychology (InPsych) Program; IHS policy gives preference to hiring applicants who are enrolled members of federally recognized tribes.
