NORTH DAKOTA STATE-LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST ROBERT K. KLEPAC, PHD RECEIVES NATIONAL AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE

June 17, 2008, Washington, D.C. - The National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology (National Register) Board of Directors today announced the presentation of the Alfred M. Wellner Senior Career Psychologist Award to Robert K. Klepac, Ph.D. of San Antonio, Texas. The award is named for the National Register's first Executive Officer, Alfred M. Wellner, Ph.D.
The Wellner Award is the National Register's highest honor bestowed on a psychologist to commemorate numerous and significant contributions to psychology during a distinguished career.

National Register Executive Officer Dr. Judy Hall will present this prestigious award to Dr. Klepac in August during the American Psychological Association (APA) Convention in Boston, MA.
In her nomination letter, Dr. Sharon Berry of Minneapolis, MN, aptly summarized Dr. Klepac's numerous accomplishments. She wrote: "Dr. Robert Klepac is a long-standing member of the National Register who has dedicated his career to the education and training of professional psychologists. He has served in a variety of training roles including academic graduate faculty, department chair, and both university and internship training director. He…continues to serve as a consultant, site visitor, and in several leadership roles through divisions and professional psychology organizations. Dr. Klepac has contributed significantly to the field of professional psychology."
Dr. Klepac has been credentialed by the National Register since 1993.
