Registrant Spotlight: Dr. Anita Solomon

Dr. Anita Solomon, a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson’s postdoctoral degree in clinical psychopharmacology, will receive the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Award for Exceptional Service. She was nominated by her team in Extended Care at the Spring Grove Hospital Center in Catonsville for her work as a group therapist for the mentally ill using the expressive arts, particularly music, poetry and movement therapies for reducing and resolving violence in inpatients psychiatric settings.
