In the course of your graduate education, internship,
and supervised training, you thought many times about
the kind of practice you might want to develop. Now
that you are ready to start an independent practice,
either full-time or part-time, it is important to
balance your concept of the ideal practice with realistic
goals for establishing and growing your professional
practice.
The National Register's Marketing Strategy and Financial Planning to Build Your Professional Practice focuses on developing a professional practice. The 32 page guide was developed by National Register staff and members of the Board of Directors who have expertise and experience in marketing and financial planning.
The resources below were not included in the National Register Marketing
Guide so that it could be updated periodically. We
invite feedback from those of you who use this information.
In so doing, we hope that this document will serve
as a living resource.
We have extracted advice provided
by Early Career Psychologists, obtained information from the web, and attached
published documents which we thought would be helpful
as a supplement to the National Register Marketing
Strategy and Financial Planning Guide to Build Your
Professional Practice. If you have suggestions
for improvement, please send them to andrew@nationalregister.org.
