The National Register is very proud to present the Legacy of Excellence DVD series. This DVD series is a professionally produced resource for psychologists, trainees, and the public. This Legacy of Excellence series features 18 eminent psychologists discussing a diverse range of topics. The series is divided into four DVDS:

The 18 featured psychologists draw upon their extensive education, training, and experience to advise psychology students, training directors, faculty, and early career professionals on how to prepare for emerging opportunities and exciting challenges in the field of psychology. This series provides a valuable overview of professional, ethical, and scientific issues facing health service psychologists. (22 minutes) This volume is an overview of the topics discussed in the three subsequent Legacy of Excellence DVDs and is ideal for short presentations to students, psychologists, and members of the public. The featured psychologists briefly describe:

- Developing students' interpersonal skills
- The essentials of supervisor/supervisee relationships
- The importance of credentialing
- A historical perspective on the National Register
- Why students should participate now in the National Psychologist Trainee Register
- Being a psychologist in the military
- Advocacy for psychology
- The importance of licensure mobility
- Cultural competence as an ethical issue
- Teaching resilience
- Self-care as mandated by professional ethics
- The significance of maintaining ethical standards in a multi-disciplinary, medical setting
