The A.M. Wellner, Ph.D. Distinguished Career Award - Deadline for Applications: 5/1/2010

This award is named in honor of the NR's first Executive Officer, Alfred M. Wellner, Ph.D. This is the highest honor bestowed on a psychologist by the National Register to commemorate numerous and significant contributions to psychology during a distinguished career. The recipient receives a plaque and an award citation in The Register Report. To apply for this award, you must be currently credentialed by the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology, have more than 10 years of post-doctoral experience, and submit the following materials by email.

  • a current CV
  • a nomination letter describing the applicant's career achievements in psychology. The National Register Awards Committee is interested in outstanding achievement in areas such as:
    1. jurisdictional or federal advocacy
    2. teaching and/or training psychology students
    3. ethics and standards for psychological practice
    4. design of a psychology based program

The Judy E. Hall, Ph.D. Early Career Psychologist Award - Deadline for Applications: 5/1/2010

This award, named in honor of NR's Executive Officer since 1990, is awarded annually to recognize excellence in a Registrant with less than 10 years of post-doctoral experience. The recipient receives a plaque, a check for $1,500, and an award citation in The Register Report. To apply for this award, you must be currently credentialed by the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology and submit the following materials by email.

  • a current CV
  • an application letter describing your achievements and goals as an early career psychologist, as well as well as an explanation of how the funds from the Judy E. Hall, Ph.D. Early Career Psychologist Award will directly and positively impact your work; and a timetable indicating projected date of completion for any proposed project.
