Areas of Expertise

The National Register Board of Directors revised the areas of expertise to 38 areas available for listing by Registrants on the OSD. These areas describe part of Registrant's practice characteristics, namely the services provided. Other practice characteristics are languages spoken, theoretical orientation and ages served. To help consumers we offer general categories (assessment and intervention) and specialized assessment and intervention categories. Wherever possible we tried to use commonly understood terminology, rather than the actual diagnostic label.
