Dr. Sandy Henderson conducts a part-time practice of clinical psychology in the Richmond, VA area, where she provides evidence-based therapy for children and adolescents, ages 3-18. Areas of practice include: ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma-related problems, Aspergers, play therapy, and multi-systemic assessment of children and families.

 
Credentials/Memberships
  • Dr. Sandy Henderson has doctoral degrees in Developmental Psychology and in Clinical Child Psychology. She is an adjunct professor at Virginia Commonwealth University and teaches graduate Developmental Psychopathology. Dr. Henderson has published several peer-reviewed articles on children’s social and emotional functioning and on parenting in divorced and intact families.
