About Me

To get some idea about how I think and work, visit my website, and read my essay Thoughts on How to Choose a Therapist; I think you will find it helpful whatever your final decision about seeing me. You will also learn there I have been a fully licensed psychologist since 1981 and I currently maintain a full-time private practice in Ann Arbor where I have also resided for almost thirty years. Most of my patients are adults whom I see in weekly or twice weekly psychotherapy, and these include many graduate and under-graduate students. I see as many women as men, and I also see couples, married or unmarried, and high school age teens.

Why Choose a National Register Psychologist?
The National Register is the largest credentialing organization for psychologists. The independent, non-profit organization was created in 1974 with the help of the American Psychological Association and the American Board of Professional Psychology. Today, the National Register is the leading source of information on nationally credentialed psychologists in health care. Psychologists who are awarded national Registrant status have achieved the highest educational and professional standards in health care. It is the only independent, credentialing body with a national level standard for verifying education and training qualifications, licensing, and ethical standards with more than 11,000 doctoral level psychologists in its database.
