About Me

How do I effectuate change? I believe change occurs from a sustained active approach with the therapist . Why is there a need for change? Many people report affective states of anxiety, depression, and stress that are inhibiting them in their work, personal lives, and enjoyment of life. My education and experience put me in a unique position to give people the understanding to find satisfaction from their personal, family and work life. Therapeutic interactions are in the here and now. Understanding often leads to an improved quality of life ; alleviating anxiety, depressive feelings as well as fears of being stuck.

I also treat families having difficulties with their children. These families are often burdened by how to deal with their children increasing more stress. I have been a practicing psychologist for nearly thirty years I earned my doctorate at Boston University with a two year clinical fellowship in psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.

Why Choose a National Register Psychologist?
The National Register is the largest credentialing organization for psychologists. The independent, non-profit organization was created in 1974 with the help of the American Psychological Association and the American Board of Professional Psychology. Today, the National Register is the leading source of information on nationally credentialed psychologists in health care. Psychologists who are awarded national Registrant status have achieved the highest educational and professional standards in health care. It is the only independent, credentialing body with a national level standard for verifying education and training qualifications, licensing, and ethical standards with more than 11,000 doctoral level psychologists in its database.
